Dear Inna,
I am writing to thank you and your staff for all the many ways you helped me to find and become engaged to the woman of my dreams!
After joining A Russian Romance and before my trip to Sochi, I had become extremely interested in one particular woman from her photos and letters. Svetlana was the first woman I met, and she seemed even prettier in person. She was a little nervous but excited, and we spent some time talking in the office with the help of Anastasia, who had also been translating my letters all this time. After a little while, Sveta suggested we go for a walk, and what a thrill it was to stroll the streets of Sochi with a very beautiful woman!
She was very competent speaking in English, although we occasionally had difficulties. She showed me the Black Sea, and we walked along the sea shore and discussed a variety of subjects. We got along very well from the beginning, and I was only vaguely aware of the surroundings, as my mind was completely on her.

Our relationship progressed rapidly, as we engaged in a number of enjoyable activities over the next few days, including bowling, strolling through Dendrariy Park, eating out at restaurants, watching the dolphin show with her son, and singing karaoke to each other. What an amazing voice she had! When Svetlana started laughing once and couldn't stop, something clicked,
and I knew I was falling for her. In fact, it was her laugh and her smile and the great pleasure she took in simple things that created a deep attraction in me for her.

With the help of Julia and Anastasia, I purchased a ring and proposed. I had no idea how she would answer and was thrilled when she agreed! Was this really happening? My remaining short time in Sochi was a blur of meeting her family, being photographed, and being presented with a folder containing copies of important documents to submit back in the USA. It was a very
difficult moment when I had to leave Sveta behind at the airport to catch my plane back home. Hadn't I just arrived?

Throughout the whole time, Anastasia was available to answer my questions and to help with any issues which arose. Although young, she was very capable and mature, and we had a number of enjoyable conversations. I also appreciated Elena's help in translation on several occasions.When I first arrived, Anastasia told me that Julia would be like a mother to
me, and that was certainly the case. In addition to helping with the ring purchase, she also made arrangements for my laundry and the cleaning of my
apartment. She and her daughter even took me shopping for groceries once when I wanted to buy ingredients for a meal Sveta was to fix. I also
consulted Julia on my choice of gifts for Sveta's family.

Thank you once again, Inna. In addition to finding the love of my life, I am grateful for receiving a small but fascinating insider's glimpse into Russian culture, and I so appreciated the assistance of all your staff in Sochi. I developed a great fondness for and friendship with Anastasia and Julia during my stay. Lastly, I need to add that I am very grateful to you for all the phone conversations and e-mail exchanges we have had, which have been extremely helpful. Thank you for making all the arrangements for my trip and for providing essential advice all along the way. None of this would have been possible without you.

I am an American man who lives in Eugene, Oregon where is located matchmaking agency" A Russian Romance". My association with A Russian Romance began about two years ago. As a single father I had spent most of the previous ten years raising three of my four teenage children which left precious little time for much of anything else. But with my youngest child fast approaching adulthood and with spare time on my hands my thoughts naturally turned to the need for companionship. This was, unfortunately, a far more difficult challenge now that I was, well, not as young as used to be. Suffice to say I found many of the previous venues available to meet single women less than appealing if not an intellectual wasteland. At first I considered the plethora of on-line dating sites as the avenue with the most potential to pursue. Unfortunately what I discovered was, in general, most of these people tended to over-rate themselves and their expectations in a potential date. The traditional on-line dating sites are best left to the ranks of the self-delusion.
More out of curiosity than any real expectations I also explored the vast number of foreign match-making sites online. The majority of these actually did little more than simply sell addresses and facilitate communication for a fee but not much of anything else. Though I did
discover there were a few sites, such as A Russian Romance, which seemed to offer a more personalized and intimate approach based more on the needs of the individual.
It seemed to me just the cost of international travel made the choice of trying to go it alone cost prohibitive, but frankly, I wasn't any more predisposed to laying out the cash required for the alternative. And that would have been the end of it had a bit of serendipity not
intervened. As I was surfing the website for A Russian Romance I was surprised to discover it was based in Eugene, Oregon where I also lived. After exchanging a few emails, I had the unique opportunity to meet with both Inna and her husband. I was immediately impressed with their sincerity and the small boutique like service they offered their clients. I don’t mind saying I was still a bit hesitant about the cost
of the annual membership, but in the end it was my meeting with Inna that convinced me that A Russian Romance was a worthwhile opportunity. And as it turns out, it was the best investment I’ve ever made, though not without some perseverance on my part. I first started exchanging email with a lady in July 2004 and we seemed to hit it off great so I decided to go and meet her in Soch that November. If I may state the obvious, compatibility is ultimately between people not email and I returned to the US rather disappointed
and disillusioned. But the fact is there are no guarantees in life, only ones hopes, desires and the effort necessary to make things happen. Deciding not to abandon my quest after only the first attempt, I adopted a more realistic attitude and with the help and guidance of
Inna and the A Russian Romance staff in Sochi I began the process again. I finally settled on art teacher named Irina and for the following 12 months we exchanged letters. I think the real problem with getting to know
someone through correspondence only is that there is a tendency to fill in many of the details with our own imagination. Having learned from my previous experience, I tempered my expectations with a more

Dear Inna,
My experience in Sochi for future clients A Russian Romance. I am an American man and live in the small city in California. Once I made the decision to try to open my horizons I flew to Sochi and went to the agency to find the woman of my dreams.
I found Sochi to be a socially rich city. I had a very rewarding and enlightened time there. I found the people of Sochi to be friendly and polite.  I had a
wonderful time there. Inna was in Sochi in that time and I meet Inna briefly at a nice café in Rivera Park, a beautiful park worth seeing. I also met Lief and Yulia, his wife. I had spoke with Lief before I left as a client referral. It was good to meet with Lief and Yuliya and their sons at café.

I found Inna to be nice friendly host The office was always open. I found Natalia and Anastassia to be very friendly and most helpful. Great communicators.

 I met a fantastic woman there. Elena and I had written by e-mail before I arrive. I was interested in her before I arrived. She turned out to be everything I was looking for and more! I feel so very lucky to have her in my life. The staff was always ready to translate if we needed. We used a laptop a lot, it helps to translate.  We had wonderful times there. I had such a great experience meeting Elena. She is such a wonderful woman. I
would recommend trying this agency if you looking for your mate. I am so very glad that I did.  We await travel arrangements and visa until we marry. I really can not thank the staff and Inna enough.

There is an old saying "Good things come to those who wait". Well I'm here to tell you the wait was definitely worth it. On June 1st 2007 Marina became my beautiful bride.

Marina and Michael both study diligently to learn the language and fit into my lifestyle. Your English teacher gave Marina a very good start which has helped us very much. We have truly become a family which I'm proud of. With each passing day we learn more about each other and become closer. They have made my life complete and for this I will be forever thankful to you.

Hi Inna,
I have always heard about Russian women and the stigma attached to them. I decided that since I was over 40 years old and still single I would try other places than just the usa. I joined ARR and started to correspond to a few women. Actually I only wrote Natasha 2 letters and I didn’t think much of her, that is till I met her. Of course getting to Russia was An experience of its own, I mean I lost my luggage and missed my flight to Sochi and my apartment wasn’t ready till the next day. I was thinking to myself what the hell am I doing here. But my luggage was found that day and the apartment was ice with air conditioning. I then started to meet some ladies all who were nice and seemed too nice to be true, then I met natashia.
She was very charming and was very well mannered and even though we didn’t speak the same language we still conversed thru the translators who were A big help. Then there were times that when we went to cafes to eat we would have more translation books and food,. O yea the food there is good I am A southern boy from the south so I do know good food. Natasha also took me to the market and cooked me chicken soup and venerate salad and something else.
That was kind of fun going top the market with her and watched her boarder with the ladies there to get the best price for the best quality food.
After about the second date with her I knew that I don’t want to go out with anyone else but her. I then went and bought a ring . . . and then next morning when we met I asked her to marry me. She did not say yes and she didn’t say no. It took her a couple of days but she did say yes and it made us both very happy. I am now in the process of filling out all the paperwork to get her visa so she can come to America and we get married. I was really surprised on how the ARR helped me and if you are
looking for someone from another country I would recommend ARR , I looked at all the other Russian web sites and this one is A little more expensive but the women here are incredible and you get to see A side of the world that everyone should take, if not for a wife and future family then just for adventure and getting some culture. I can not thank ARR enough for helping me find the person that I fell in love with so thank you again Inna and Natasha and Anastasia for all the help you gave me.

Richard is writes about his marriage to Olga on their fifth wedding anniversary

Hi Inna. It has been a long time since I spoke with you. This is Richard from Idaho one of your first few clients from 2001. The last time I talked to you was several years ago when Olga and I stopped at your house and spent the day with you and Alan.

This has been a special year for us. Not only did we celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary but Olga just received her American citizenship in March. We have not been to Sochi in four years and are looking forward to our trip in June of this year. Olga's English is fantastic!! It's hard for me to believe that in 2001 when we met she could not speak a word of English and we did almost everything with the help of your translators. Olga now even helps other Russians we have met with their translation problems from time to time.

I remember a phone conversation I had with Alan before I first went to Sochi to meet Olga in person. He expressed to me patience and to remember that she is giving up a lot for me.

I took those words very serious and it helped. Our first year was a struggle because of language barriers and culture differences. That first year helped both of us to grow and I feel it has strengthened our relationship even more. I love her more now than when I asked her to marry me in Sochi.

I just wanted to send you another thank you because if not for you and Alan I would not have such a wonderful woman for my wife. Olga pends
much of time now studying, she is working on a college degree and of course there are still times she struggles a little with the language but she never gives up.
