"Dear Inna,
Happy tidings! I'm sure you've heard by now that Susanna and I are engaged. It's not something that I expected to happen when I flew to Sochi. As you know, I joined your agency twice over a span of three years, and never visited Sochi during my first membership. That was either a mistake, or providence, depending on how you look at it. My advice to any of your other members is that you have to make the trip and meet the women. The primary reason I didn't come during my first membership is that there wasn't any particular woman that I was strongly drawn to. I know now that had I come, I would have been charmed, if not won over by the wonderful women of Sochi."

Dear Inna,
Here are my thoughts about my love story. The depth and breadth of how my life has improved from only one year ago is a fantasy come true! I started my journey by spending so much time on the internet that I thought I would go blind. I read every book I could get my hands on and watched every documentary cable television had to offer about Russian brides and Russian culture.

We wish you a long and happy marriage and a happy life together! -- from Inna McNeill, the owner A Russian Romance and the Sochi office staff: Natalia G., Rosa S., Irina L., Yulia S., Svetlana V. and Svetlana, Eva's English teacher.

At this moment it is hard to understand why I waited so long to join A Russian Romance. I suppose fear of the unknown and what would happen to me if I broke out of my comfortable safe life are some of the reasons. It strikes me now that accepting I deserved more from a relationship and a woman was the main reason. It may sound foolish but the thought of getting what I wanted was scary and I was unsure if I was ready for my dream to come true?

In early July, 2004, I made the plunge and joined the agency. I remember feeling petrified when I clicked the submit payment on Paypal for the trial membership with A Russian Romance. What finally pushed me to join I do not remember. At this time Inna was in Sochi so I was dealing with her husband Alan. After a few problems with my home computer I was on my way to finding the love of my life! I spent hours looking though the full catalog of women. For me the question of having to write multiple women was interesting. Every man in the agency has a different experience. The first letter I received from my future wife told me everything I had been yearning to hear all these years. This quote from her first letter is what got me.

“In Russia we still have the cult of the family where a husband is the head of the family and a wife is the keeper of the home fire. In my opinion it should be like that in the family.”

I shared this letter with my sister and her comment was she thought Eva only wanted for me to support her and this bothered my sister. I of course love my sister but this is a typical opinion of an American
woman. They do not understand that this IS the responsibility of the husband. A career is not a desire of my wife. We both understand that taking care of our home and me is more than enough for one person, especially when we have children.

During the letter writing process I discovered the best way for me to have a tangible connection with this type of budding relationship. When Eva first said she was reading a book called “The Alchemist” I
immediately began reading it with her and using chapters for discussion in my following letters. The love story in this book became our love story! The passion and love in this novel holds the key to why you may wish to travel such a long and difficult road to find your wife.

I left for Sochi in late September, 2004, and I was in a fog the entire trip. All of that was about to change. I was sitting in the office of A Russian Romance on the Black Sea in the middle of Russia and in walked
the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. I could not believe the woman I had been writing for so many months was actually right in front of me. I had two surprises from her in store for me on that first date, the first being that she was fluent in English!

We left the agency and walked down to the Sea stopping at a quaint café for our first evening together. After fours hours we both knew the connection was real but I still had to be polite and ask if she would go on a second date the next day. She said she would love too and then told me of her second surprise. She took her entire vacation and spent all day, every day, for the next three weeks with me! From this moment forward my life was a whirlwind of discovery; about her, about myself and how we would plan our future together. From spending evenings in a small apartment with her, to sitting in an open air concert amongst 500 Russians, understanding not word, my life was forever altered!

I will close with a thank you to Inna and everyone associated with A Russian Romance. Without you and this agency I would still be stuck in my past life! Please excuse me as I must return home to my beautiful, loving wife and my Dream come true!

How Robert met Olga

A romantic story of how Robert met Olga through
A Russian Romance one year ago on Valentine's Day. He sent flowers to this beautiful girl Olga and then he saw her picture with the the other beautiful Russian women at the Valentines' day party in our Sochi office.

Robert thought Olga was beutiful from her pictures, and he also enjoyed her romantic letters. In the spring of 2004 he traveled to Sochi and met the beautiful Russian girl Olga in person...
Inna McNeill, the owner of ARR, Inna Travnikova, psychologist at ARR and the office staff were very happy to meet Robert in Sochi and represent him to Olga. Inna and Inna and translators talked to Olga and Robert and helped them understand each other better and minimize the reduce cultural differences and language barmier.

Very soon Olga and Robert realized that they were absolutely right for each other and they felt a
strong chemistry. A few days before he left Sochi Robert proposed to Olga in a very romantic way. Inna and Inna were invited to the engagement

Lidia and I will have our formal wedding in December at the Venetian Hotel in Las

satisfy the immigration requirements here in USA.  But, we are planning the BIG wedding with all the family at the end of next month on December 26th.

Your job is not an easy one. Difficult people and sometimes un-thankful clients as well. I know
that there are men who are not really serious about the service you provide. Unfortunately many men think they can accomplish this finding a special lady without the help of your agency. Well, maybe they can. But I know that without your help, Lidia and I could never have been as successful as we are now in our love.
